About this project
mood2song is an AI-powered music discovery tool that generates custom playlists based on how you feel or what kind of moment you're in. Users can type anything from “chilling at the beach” to “going through it emotionally,” and the app returns a Spotify playlist that matches the vibe. The unique twist: users can also choose from a cast of music “personas”—like The Terminally Online Alt Kid, The Hypebeast DJ, or Sad Boi Supreme—each with their own personality, music taste, and way of interpreting your mood. These personas give your recommendations flair, humor, and flavor. Built to feel like talking to a friend who just gets it—and has great taste in music.
