Nexus Auto — AI-Assisted Automotive Marketplace

About this project

Nexus Auto is a complete, runnable automotive marketplace source-code product designed for car companies, dealerships, and private sellers. Buyers can browse and search vehicle inventory, filter by brand, fuel type, price and body style, compare up to four vehicles, save favorites, contact dealers, request information, schedule test drives and make offers. The platform includes a premium digital showroom with exterior, interior and detail galleries, fullscreen image viewing, zoom and pan, a 360° vehicle viewer, video support and vehicle specification panels. Sellers receive role-based dashboards for managing vehicles, dealership profiles, inquiries, test drives, offers, leads and analytics. Company accounts can manage multiple dealerships, team members, bulk CSV vehicle uploads and sales trends. Admin functionality includes verification request management. The project also includes AI-assisted functionality and an MCP server that exposes marketplace tools to external AI assistants, including vehicle search, vehicle details, inquiries and inquiry creation. The source code includes TanStack Start v1, React 19, TypeScript, Tailwind CSS v4, Supabase migrations, authentication, Row-Level Security policies, triggers, documentation, environment configuration examples, public assets and deployment configuration. Demo vehicle listings, dealership information and generated vehicle imagery are included as sample data. The core marketplace functionality, database structure, authentication, dashboards, forms, lead flows, comparison tool, CSV upload, analytics and MCP tools are implemented and ready for connection to a buyer’s own backend and production data.

Original vision

The vision behind Nexus Auto was to build a modern automotive marketplace that brings vehicle discovery, dealerships, buyers and intelligent technology together in one platform. The goal is to make finding and comparing vehicles easier for buyers while giving dealers and automotive companies powerful tools to manage inventory, generate leads and understand their customers.

Why it's available

I built Nexus Auto as a complete automotive marketplace platform and am now looking to hand it over to a buyer who can take it further commercially. The core product is already built, including the marketplace, vehicle listings, dashboards, authentication, lead-generation flows, analytics, and database integration. The current version uses demo inventory and assets, so the buyer can connect their own backend credentials, real inventory, branding, and domain. I’m selling the project because I want to move on to other projects and would rather see the codebase used and developed by someone who can take it to the next level.
