PassthePass.com is a web-based platform built for SaaS founders, developers, and website owners to securely manage and hand over project credentials. Users can store sensitive details like API keys, passwords, and social media logins per project. When collaborating or preparing for a project sale, they can invite others—such as co-founders, team members, or buyers—to access relevant credentials through a guided handover checklist. Features include GitHub integration, partial transfer support, and auto-detection of secrets in code repositories.
Original vision
The goal was to solve the messy, insecure process of sharing project credentials during collaborations and handovers. Instead of spreadsheets, emails, or scattered notes, PassthePass.com aimed to be the go-to hub for organized, secure, and structured transfers—especially useful for startup acquisitions, developer transitions, and freelance project wrap-ups.
Why it's available
I had the idea for PassthePass.com because I saw a real need for secure project handovers—but I don’t have a background in security, and I realized I wasn’t the right person to take it further. I’ve since shifted focus to other projects and would love to pass this on to someone who can give it the attention and expertise it deserves.
