The Opportunity: Padel is the fastest-growing sport globally. However, local padel communities rely on chaotic WhatsApp groups to organize matches, book courts, and track rankings. Smash solves this by providing a centralized, secure, and gamified platform. Smash is a production-ready, installable mobile web app (PWA) built to connect players, courts, and tournaments. It closes the trust gap in local sports communities with a real ELO ranking system and secure phone-based OTP authentication. Original vision

Padel is booming globally, but local communities still rely on chaotic WhatsApp groups to book courts and organize matches. This creates massive friction: scores are forged, tournaments use Excel, and players can't track skill levels. The vision for Smash was to build the "Strava for Padel." By implementing a mathematically sound ELO ranking system and secure OTP auth, Smash eliminates this friction, transforming fragmented groups into a sticky, engaging sports ecosystem.

Why it's available

Honesty is best: I am a builder, not a marketer. I built Smash to solve a genuine friction point in the local sports community here in Pakistan. The architecture, the UI, the ELO math, and the PWA functionality are all exactly how I envisioned them. The tech is flawless. However, my core strengths lie in full-stack engineering and business analysis (I am currently pursuing my MSc in Supply Chain & Retail Management at LUMS). Launching a consumer-facing sports app requires aggressive local marketing, community management, and on-the-ground partnerships with court owners—skills that are outside my primary focus. I am currently shifting my attention back to B2B SaaS platforms and data analytics tools, which align better with my academic background and professional consulting work. Rather than letting this incredible codebase sit idle on my GitHub, I want to hand it over to a founder who has the marketing bandwidth and local network to actually launch it in their city.
